Classification and Characteristics of Interpretation

01 Offset printing

  • Offset printing is one of the most commonly used printing methods in which ink is separated from the printing plate (off), transferred to the plate, and then deposited on the paper (set).

  • It is mainly used in manuals, brochures, catalogs, promotional books, etc.

02 Master printing

  • Similar to offset printing, it is a flatbed printing method, and the engraving process is processed on the spot.
  • It has the advantage of reducing time, but has the disadvantage of uneven color and image expression.
  • It is mainly used in copy prints, receipts, reports, etc.

03 Digital printing

  • It eliminates the intermediate process required for offset printing and outputs the original file as it is, saving cost and time when printing in small quantities.
  • It is used for reports, booklets, portfolios, etc., which are printed in small quantities, as it produces output with a quality almost similar to that of offset printing.
  • It is possible to produce in a short time and print in exact quantities.

04 UV printing

  • By using UV ink that dries quickly under UV light, instant drying is possible and printing on special materials is possible.
    Unlike offset printing, it dries instantaneously, so post-processing can be processed quickly as there is no staining.
    It can shorten the production process by solving spot color and UV coating at once.

05 Silk printing

  • It prints on thick paper, acrylic, iron, etc., which are difficult to do with offset printing.
  • The colors are vivid and the thickness of the ink can be adjusted.
  • It is mainly used for external advertising or POP advertising.
